Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, formerly named Saigon is the largest city and economic center of Vietnam always bustled with activities of modern life. It is where businesses converge and shoppers indulge themselves into unlimited choices. However the city also carries with it a rich historical legacy in contrast with its dazzling glamor. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to lunch at local Halal restaurant. Afternoon we will visit the most interesting sights in Saigon includes: the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall (Hotel De Ville), the old Opera House (both may only be viewed from the outside). Then to Ar-Rahim Mosque (built by Malaysian-Indonesian Muslim in 1885). Shopping at Hard Rock Cafe for souvenirs. Dinner on Indochina traditional Boat cruising along Saigon river. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 2 : CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH CITY HIGHLIGHTS (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels, 70 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Return to Ho Chi Minh for lunch at a halal restaurant. Afternoon praying at Majid Musulman – this is the most crowded mosque in Saigon, built in 1935 by Indian Muslims. Then tour in the city starting first with the The War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans, The Reunification Palace was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975 when the North Vietnamese tanks came crashing through the front gates, bringing the U.S.-Vietnam War to a dramatic end. Shopping at Saigon Square or Ben Thanh Market or Malaysian shops: Hong Anh Collection, Mai collection, Taka Plaza… Dinner at the local Halal restaurant. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 3 : HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B)
