DAY 01: WELCOME TO HANOI CITY! (D)
Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, the post-colonial capital city of Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, numerous lakes, pagodas and temples. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel for check-in. Enjoy the Vietnam famous Water Puppet Show. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 02: HANOI – LAO CAI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to Sapa (It takes around 4.5 hours for transferring). Sapa is one of the most interesting sightseeing in the north of Vietnam, with the height around 1500-1650m above sea level and a land of modest, quietly but hides varies wonderful of natural scenes and Sapa is also a nest of hill tribe as: Black H’Mong, Red Dzao, Xa Pho, Tay, Zay…etc. Enjoy lunch upon arrive in Sapa, then transfer to hotel for check in. Afternoon, we visit Cat Cat village, home of Hmong ethnic minority people. The traditional trades of brocade making and silver and bronze smith are still practiced nowadays by villagers after numerous generations of their ancestors. You can see the Hmong women by their looms weaving fabrics. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French style. Back to Sapa town to visit Sapa Church, shopping at Sapa Minority People Market. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
DAY 03: SAPA – LAO CHAI TA VAN – LAO CAI – HANOI (B/L/D)
After breakfast. Start of journey to trek up the hill and through the rice terrace fields of the Black Hmong villages of Lao Chai. Continue walking to Ta Van village of the Giay people. You will have a chance to find out the differences of culture and costumes between the Black Hmong and Giay minorities. Return to the hotel for freshening up and check out then to a local restaurant for lunch. You may continue to explore this beautiful small town or shopping activities at local shops. Leaving for Hanoi. Upon arrival, enjoy dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 04: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)
After brekfast, visit Ba Dinh Square, the square is 320 meters long and 100 meters wide, can accommodate up to hundred thousand people, a place for Hanoi people’s meetings and festivals. Then visit to One Pillar Pagoda, temple was built by Emperor Ly Thai Tong, who ruled from 1028 to 1054. According to the court records, he believed that the luck had been foretold in a dream about the Goddess of Mercy handing him a male child on a lotus flower. He then built the original small wooden pagoda to resemble a lotus blossom to pay tribute to his good fortune. Then visit President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (Closed on Monday & Friday, the whole October & November), its architectural style is a blend of the Lenin Mausoleum and the Vietnam national style by the former Soviet Union experts. Ho Chi Minh’s body was placed in a crystal coffin. After that, visit to Ho Chi Minh Museum and Ho Chi Minh Former House. Museum exhibits souvenirs, military command, and photographs of the Communist Party of Vietnam. After this proceed to visit Temple of Literature. The temple is a landmark building in Hanoi, which houses the memorial tablets of Confucius and members of the Confucian sages, it is said the first Vietnamese National Studies University. Next, proceed to one of the world’s eight wonders – Halong Bay. Late afternoon visit Royal Casino. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Halong Bay.
DAY 05: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Today enjoy Cruise Ride along Halong Bay (around 4 hours), the World Natural Heritage, thousands of islands with different forms look like glittering emeralds attached to the blue scarf of a virgin. The area where many stone islands concentrate has spectacular scenes and world-famous caves and is the center of Halong Bay Natural Heritage. View the Dramatic Caves and visit to Thien Cung Caves which recently discovered grotto is perhaps the most beautiful grotto in all Halong Bay. Seafood lunch on board. Upon finished, back to Hanoi. Visit Tran Quoc Temple, built in the 6th century, is the most beautiful ancient buildings in Hanoi West Lake with beautiful and elegant scenery. On the way, view the National Opera House. Then to Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple before visit the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 06: HANOI CITY – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy your free time to explore this city until transfer to airport for flight home with sweet memories.
