DAY 1 : WELCOME TO HO CHI MINH CITY! (D)
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which is still commonly referred to as Saigon, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel for check-in. Free at leisure till Welcome Dinner on board an excursion cruise along Saigon River with show entertainment. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 2 : HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels – An immense network of connecting underground tunnels that more than 200km long and 3 – 8 m deep, the tunnels were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American forces, and helped to counter the growing American military effort. Back to Ho Chi Minh for lunch. Afternoon: immerse yourself in recent history at the War Remnants Museum which exhibits photographs and weapons of the Vietnam War. Continue with Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office, The Old Opera House, and The City Hall – known as The People’s Committee Building of Ho Chi Minh located at one end of Nguyen Hue Street, one of the most beautiful streets in this metropolis. (both may only be viewed from the outside), and the final stop will be bustling Ben Thanh Market – a fantastic place for you to buy variety of goods and souvenirs. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. After driving to the lush Mekong Delta – known as the “Rice basket of Vietnam”, we continue on a boat ride along the Delta’s many waterways, stopping to visit natural pure honey at the bee keeping farm. Taste some honey tea, rice wine etc… We continue visiting the orchard, enjoying fresh fruits and listening Vietnamese traditional music, visiting the village producing candies. Take a rowing boat on small canal with beautiful scenery of country side. Also visit the famous Vinh Trang Temple. There are many Buddha statues including some that are over a hundred years old. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant with specialty “ Ear Elephant “ we return to Ho Chi Minh City. Visit ancient Chinatown, Thien Hau pagoda, Traditional Chinese herbalists, the handicraft and lacquer ware workshop. Dinner at local restaurant. It’s your free time to explore this bustling city by night. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy your free time to explore this city until transfer to airport for flight home with sweet memories.
